The India–Korea Forum (IKF) invites students, young researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs, social innovators and emerging community leaders to apply as speakers for the NextGen Global Dialogue on Sustainable Development 2026.

Taking place in Seoul, the Dialogue will provide a dynamic platform for emerging leaders to present innovative ideas, share practical experiences and engage in meaningful discussions on building a more peaceful, inclusive and sustainable future. The event also aims to strengthen a vibrant NextGen community and encourage continued collaboration, knowledge exchange and collective action beyond the Dialogue.

Suggested Themes

Applicants may propose a presentation related to one of the following themes:

  • Youth Leadership and the Sustainable Development Goals
  • Climate Action and Sustainable Lifestyles
  • Responsible AI and Technology for Social Good
  • Sustainable Cities and Communities
  • Social Inclusion and Human Dignity
  • Peace and Global Citizenship
  • Responsible Business and Green Entrepreneurship
  • Gender Equality, Peace and Reconciliation
  • Any other topic relevant to sustainable development and the broader theme of the Dialogue

Presentation Format

Selected speakers will deliver a concise 8–10-minute presentation. Presentations should introduce a clear idea, experience, initiative or practical recommendation relevant to sustainable development.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are welcome from:

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Doctoral and early-career researchers
  • Young professionals
  • Entrepreneurs and social innovators
  • Civil-society and community leaders
  • Emerging leaders from diverse countries and professional backgrounds

Application Requirements

Applicants should submit:

  • Proposed presentation title
  • Summary of 150–200 words
  • Short biography of up to 100 words
  • Institutional or professional affiliation
  • Country of residence

Important Information

Applicants must either reside in South Korea or be able to travel to Seoul independently for the event. Please note that IKF is unable to provide visa, travel or accommodation support.

Application Deadline: 18 September 2026

Selected speakers will be included in the official programme and receive a Certificate of Presentation.
