The India–Korea Forum (IKF) is pleased to invite you to join our upcoming panel discussion on India–Korea Green Energy Cooperation, with a particular focus on Green Hydrogen.

As India and South Korea seek to strengthen energy security while accelerating their green transitions, green hydrogen is emerging as one of the most promising areas for future cooperation. Both countries have identified green hydrogen as a strategic priority for achieving sustainable growth, industrial competitiveness, and carbon neutrality.

South Korea has adopted ambitious plans to develop a hydrogen economy capable of supporting its key strategic industries and mobility sector. Korea has already made significant progress in hydrogen technologies, including the commercialization of hydrogen-powered vehicles and related infrastructure.

India, meanwhile, is actively promoting the development of a green hydrogen industry through large-scale investments and policy initiatives. A key component of India’s strategy is its ambition to become a major exporter of green hydrogen and its derivatives, such as green ammonia, to global markets.

Green hydrogen cooperation could also contribute to strengthening India–Korea economic ties. As both countries explore ways to create a more balanced and diversified trade relationship, future imports of green hydrogen from India could emerge as an important area of bilateral cooperation.

In this context, the India–Korea Forum is organizing one of the first dialogues dedicated to India–Korea cooperation in green energy and green hydrogen. We are honored to bring together distinguished experts from India and South Korea to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and future prospects of this emerging partnership.
